DEAD DIARIES OF DIARYLAND

The first dead diary to be recalled is the diary of pattymci. Only two entries, two very short entries.
Patty, it seems, worked for mci or liked mci enough to identify her diary with it.
Patty began this diary, as some female diarists do, as a weight loss diary.
The last entry leaves us waiting for her to tell us of the result of a weight-loss surgery that she calls "open Roux-en-y".
She does not come back as promised. She writes in anticipation of the surgery that "I just can't wait to get to 'the other side'."
She seems to see that not being skinny in life is similar to being dead. And sees that only when you are slim and thin are you really alive and that life is really lived. In simple words, life is only worth living if you are not fat.
Being skinny seems to be her idea of the reason to live.
Many people think like her.
